to .05 after the second cleaning, finished cleaning at 9:03 MST.
- 230: krypton, Site 10, Sat 05-Aug-2006 19:20:11 MST, krypton klean
krypton cleaned at about 0030Z. Mast down 0024-0034. Voltage increased from
0.07 to 0.19V. (I think this is a record for this sensor??)
- 219: krypton, Site 3, Fri 04-Aug-2006 18:29:08 MST, krypton kleaned
krypton kleaned by mast down at 12:15. Voltage 0.08 -> 0.2 V.
Mast back up 12:20.
- 218: krypton, Site 5, Fri 04-Aug-2006 18:28:09 MST, krypton kleaned
krypton kleaned by Gordon climbing at 09:21. Voltage 0.07 -> 0.12 V.
- 184: krypton, Site 3, Thu 27-Jul-2006 09:31:46 MST, Station visit, site 3: cleaned KH2O
Cleaned site 3 KH2O
Large tube on top
Took photo to show spatial displacement
Before cleaning 150 mV
After cleaning 115 -> 150 mv
- 164: krypton, Site 10, Mon 24-Jul-2006 22:55:03 MDT, Station 10 Krypton cleaning
Lower mast at 11:03 MST
Cleaned krypton with distilled water and Qtip:
Krypton voltage:
before cleaning: 130 mV
after cleaning: 95 mV
slowly rose to 100 mV
Voltage dropped after cleaning.
Raised mast: 11:22 MST
- 151: krypton, Site 5, Sat 22-Jul-2006 10:17:47 MDT, Station 5 – Krypton cleaned
Station 5 – Krypton cleaned
The krypton hygrometer was cleaned at 1245 with little change noted in the response.
- 133: krypton, Site 10, Tue 18-Jul-2006 09:43:22 MDT, St 10 Visit: krypton cleaning
17jul06 12:40 - 14:50
Purpose: routine maintenance, logger power
Mast Down: 12:52-13:50
Krypton Cleaned: s/n 1101
This *^(^ thing fooled me.
I ended up cleaning it 4 times over and hour period
because when doing data dump prior
to cleaning it i thought i'd seen 200mV. Then after the first
and subsequent cleanings it went to between 100-130mV which made
me think it got worse and been messed up.
Wrong, Greg later informed me the pre-clean values had been ~20mV.
According to Greg's analysis this unit is performing well across
the spectrum to at up to ~14hz, however we may want to swap it
out with the kh2o at 5 where the licor is colocated.
- 124: krypton, Site 3, Mon 17-Jul-2006 11:37:14 MDT, St 3 Visit: Krypton cleaned
16Jul06 11:30 - 16:00
Krypton Cleaned: 12:00
voltage raised from 350mV to 700mV
s/n 1391
- 108: krypton, Site 2, Fri 14-Jul-2006 20:23:58 MDT, st2 Visit: Krypton cleaned
14Jul06 14:00 - 17:30
Purpose: Intermittent outages last night / routine maintenance
14:40 krypton cleaned, kh2o #1385 (must be 1395 and i couldn't read it correctly)
values went from .35 to .6vdc
- 96: krypton, Site 5, Thu 13-Jul-2006 16:33:26 MDT, St 5: Krypton cleaned
13Jul06 15:15-17:30
~17:00 The krypton hygrometer was cleaned.
Voltage rose by 150mV which is about the same as it had deteriorated
since the last cleaning cycle on the 2nd.
- 89: krypton, Site 10, Wed 12-Jul-2006 18:47:01 MDT, Low voltage krypton at Stn 10 versus Stn 3 spectra
The spectra were created via data_dump, scan etc.. We find that the spectra look close to -5/3 to 15Hz at Site 10 and all the way to 30Hz at Site 3 (operating at 60Hz). As a result we believe the low V krypton data is OK at Site 10, subject to further analysis.
- 37: krypton, Site 10, Tue 04-Jul-2006 22:01:37 MDT, st10 Visit: krypton, mast down
4jul06 14:00
Mast Down 14:30 - 16:00
Tried to find cause of low kh20 voltages but really didn't. Actual voltage going into serializer was 40mV....yuk. Need to return with a different krypton and a better way to test the voltage output. Power to the krypton was good.
Cleaned krypton and got some improvement.
Path length appears roughly 10mm....perhaps too wide given the moist for Arizona conditions?
- 21: krypton, Site 10, Sun 02-Jul-2006 22:17:44 MDT, Krypton cleaning Site 10 - very low voltage values
This krypton is reading very low voltages (under 0.1 V). Thus it was cleaned and voltage values were not improved. This sensor may be fading.
- 8: krypton, Site 5, Sun 02-Jul-2006 20:24:17 MDT, st5 kh2o cleaned
2Jul06, 9:30-10:30 MST
Distilled water used to clean krypton.
Opened csat elec box to check voltages: .08 before, .25 after (but may have still been wet).
Note: decided against pivoting the xarm up because of 2 things: electronics box is mounted on top of the xarm right next to the tower and the cables to the rmy, irt are too tight.
Used 'stick-with-wick' method on the rohn tower.
