339: TRH, Site 1, Mon 28-Aug-2006 08:31:35 MST, Fan at station 1
When I removed the TRH from site 1 I noticed that the fan blade was not attached
to the motor. This was detected when the TRH position was changed from
horizontal to vertical.

318: TRH, Site 4, Tue 22-Aug-2006 09:48:51 MST, Station visit, Site 4, August 21
A.J.I. and Steve S. arrived at 14:11 and left at 14:21

Activities:
- Replaced TRH
- Rnet looked clean

317: TRH, Site 4, Tue 22-Aug-2006 09:47:49 MST, TRH replaced
Replaced TRH at 14:25.
260: TRH, Site 1, Fri 11-Aug-2006 15:15:06 MST, TRH hookup
Hooked up TRH at 11:00 but logger not hooked up until 11:02. Fan had a peculiar sound with not enough velocity. Dismounted TRH at 11:47 to inspect and the fan
blade came off the mount. Glued back on, but the fan still sounds wimpy. The TRH
was back up at 12:19.
145: TRH, Site 5, Fri 21-Jul-2006 17:47:22 MDT, Visit to station 5
John, Greg, and I visited station 5 yesterday, July 20, around noon.
John restarted station to revive GOES transmission.
John (or Greg) swapped USB drives
John cleaned KH2O windows
Greg made Trime measurements, took soil samples, and cleaned radiometers.

Note that Greg promised to send a more detailed description of this station
visit.

Gordon and I noted this morning, July 21, that the TRH was pegged full scale
for both temperature and humidity. We visited station, arriving around
12:15 local time. Recycled power on the TRH, which commenced to output
acceptable data. [This serial number is 704, which was one of the 3 that
had the same problem in TREX.]

After visiting station 5 yesterday, we went to station 4 and spent considerable time repairing cow vandalism of the site. As a consequence, the soil samples
from station 5 aged an unacceptable time, so Gordon and I redid the soil
moisture measurements today.

At 13:00 local time, the Trime measured 8.9% soil moisture (TDR 46.0,
Probe P3, number 1)
Took soil samples at 13:10 local time.

5: TRH, Site 1, Sat 01-Jul-2006 22:07:17 MDT, st1 Visit: TRH / new xml
7/1/06 13:30-15:35 local

Purpose: TRH down, intermittent goes, new xml file

Data System:
- Initial checkout: showed data was being collected but the trh was once again in a strange mode.
Swapped TRH and also DISCOVERED A BAD SERIAL CABLE to the TRH.

goes
- ck_goes: ok. Greg repositioned the antenna and stabilized it in hopes of improving the spotty reception. Instead the station went down shortly afterwards.

Note: wildfire a couple of miles on a ridge to the south towards 2/3.

- installed new xml file:
- swapped usb: cruzer #512-2 out; lexar #512-12 in
- bootup OK
- data_stats: OK
- weep hole added

ToDo:
Elec. Fence:	Cows in area and no fence. However they already have much
to rub up against so hopefully they won't bother the
		station, and haven't so far.
