170: RADAR, Site ISS2-Revelle, Fri 10-Feb-2012 08:40:32 GMT, Profiler Orientation
Measured the profiler between x's and came out to 19". Seas are calm, not much rocking.
160: RADAR, Site ISS2-Revelle, Fri 03-Feb-2012 12:27:11 GMT, Profiler Orientation
Measuring the profiler on stabilized platform from 'x to x'.

20" was measured.

3.0m waves.
158: RADAR, Site ISS2-Revelle, Thu 02-Feb-2012 03:05:48 GMT, Profiler Orientation
Measurement of the profiler's orientation from 'x to x'.

20"

We are moving at 14 knots and normal seas (2.0m wave heights).
152: RADAR, Site ISS2-Revelle, Sun 29-Jan-2012 01:50:05 GMT, Profiler Orientation Check
So we are moving 8knts on a North-South line between 2N and 2S. Waters are kind of calm (1.5m) but they are choppy. Decided to check profiler to it's orientation and noticed that now it's on the "other side" of the marking with a distance of 'x' to be 15". Now it's closer than at the dock. This thing is all over the place.

Will keep checking during different ocean conditions.

REVELLE WIND PROFILER SETTINGS

These are the settings I have left the wind profiler in at the Cocos.
The profiler is set with the Y26 side is pointed about 14 deg port of the bow
and inside the clutter screen, it is twisted a further 6 degrees to port
so that the y26 beam is actually pointed at 20 deg to port (ie, at 340 deg).

If the stabilized platform fails and the profiler has to be fixed to the frame
then the y26 beam will go back to 14 deg (ie 346 deg) so the parameter file
should be adjusted.

As of Sept 4 the settings are:

Parameter Set 1
IPP 50 PW 400 CODE 4 NHTS 68 DELAY 2700 SPACE 400 COHAVG 110 SPECAVG 32 NPTS 128
