- The network is back running. I think the NetGear wanted to be in
air conditioning for a while. Note that Iload has gone up to 1.3A

- All non-stainless hardware on the station is rusted. Getting the
turnbuckles off (to lower the mast) is really hard. Suggest a good
soaking with WD-40 a day before teardown! [Apparently, WD-40 can't

This is a bit of a cheat sheet for how to fill in the
"DAILY STATUS" logbook entry.
1. logbook is entered from any text window on the base station
laptop by typing "logbook".
click on entry # "Daily Status Template" (or on the latest
Daily Status entry)
(may have to scroll down with right-hand scrollbar)
click on "Clone"
click on "Author" in new "entry" window
click on your name
click anywhere in the bottom part of the "entry" window
enter comments after ":", some hints are in "[]"
click on "Done" at top of "entry" window
click on "File"
click on "Save and Exit"

Tower Setup and box installed on Spanish Point.
Steel replacement mast stiffener tubes Chris cut were used
instead of the normal ones which weren't sent. They are coming
with personnel arriving tomorrow.
Sandbagged station to coral limestone surface.
No ground rod being used.
Power:
4 batteries, 1 bank of 3 solar panels.
Communications:
Freewave link is running direct to the SPOL site: it is possible to
see the top of the dish from the station just barely

GOES:
installed antenna and started it up. Looks good at station itself.
802.11 Comms:
Setup YSI antenna and Charlies wireless access point running off
pam batteries. For the moment we'll run this full time and it'll
be available for the GAOS operations.
