Yesterday's afternoon launch I was testing the sonde for pre-launch and noticed that the temperatures of the sondes I was preparing was always showing off on temperature. The sonde was showing 3.0C lower in temperature difference. I came to a conclusion today, re-testing the same sondes in the morning (dark) launch that the temps were just fine in comparision. I believe that the sun and calm wind conditions made the WXT warmer due to no ventilation on the unit. Having to say, yes to the sondes readings yesterday do not screw up the sounding in any way in post processing.
