ATD... Periods of Vertical Pointing

S-Pol MAP Italy, 1999

Aperiodically, the S-Pol radar is pointed vertically for purposes of data quality control. Vertical pointing allows estimation of any bias in Zdr, and provides insight to the correctness of other radar parameters.

The following is a tabulation of all periods of vertical pointing for S-pol in MAP:

09/04/99 10:39:16 to 09/04/99 10:45:27
09/06/99 12:12:54 to 09/06/99 12:28:57
09/13/99 08:00:00 to 09/13/99 08:15:00 Scans at 88-degrees
