HAIS instruments (named from the "HIAPER Aircraft Instrumentation Solicitation) are being developed by outside contractors. In FY2007, EOL will receive delivery of 11 of these 14 instruments. Testing of these instruments will be a major commitment during this year. “GAP” instruments, being developed at NCAR, add key components not included among the HAIS projects.
