Relevance and Benefits
Our proposed activities are directly responsive to NAME contributions. The precipitation products will provide rainfall measurements that will be used to asess the climatic effects of fluctuations in the North American Monsoon.
The scientific community and the general public (e.g. cooperative observers) will also benefit from the proposed work in that science education is an integral part of this activity.
