Introduction

S-PolKa data are available in two formats (CfRadial and DORADE), and may be translated into several additional ones. Software is available for data display and data translation, as well as scientific analysis of the data. Support for particular software packages vary, with some packages having reached a mature, "bug fix" only configuration, and other packages undergoing active development. Much of the software runs only under the Linux operating system.

The following software is available. Follow the links for further information. There may be additional packages not on this list, that will work with S-Pol data.

• Radx library, a modern package for radar data translation and simple analysis.
• soloii and xltrsii Radar data display and editor; radar data translator (legacy software).
