General Description:
Dayekou station, which situated in the southern of Zhangye city of Gansu province, located in a forest of shade slope in Guantan in Dayekou subbasin of upstream of Heihe river basin. The main tree in Guantan is spruce about 15m-20m, and the ground covered with moss about 10cm, they are all well-grown.
Dayekou forest observed site is 15 meters width from east to west, and 15 meters length from south to north. There is a 24 meters micro-meteorological observing tower in the test site, and observed sensors of wind, temperature and humidity grads respectively on 2 meters, 10 meters and 24 meters on the observing tower, and a photosynthetic active radiometer, a radiation four-component meter, a ultrasonic anemometer and a gas analyzer mounted on 20m, and a snow depth sensor.
There is a east facing and 1.2 meters depth soil profile which is 6 meters away from the northern of 24 meters micro-meteorological observing tower. Soli heat flux sensor is deployed in the 0.05m and 0.15m depth, and a six levels soil temperature and soil water sensor are deployed in 0.10m, 0.20m, 0.40m, 0.80m, 1.20m, 1.60m respectively. The soil profile is disposed with layering in excavation and burying process to keep the original layered structure, and the vegetation layer can be reserved more completely.
