General Description:
Binggou cold regions hydrological weather station situated in the river valley of Binggou subbasin of the upstream of Heihe river. There are rolling hills and mountains in the east and west sides. The field around is flat relatively, and the surface is the mixture of sparse grassland and river gravel.
Binggou weather site is 12 meters width from east to west, and 16 meters length from south to north. There is a 10 meters micro-meteorological observing tower in the test site, and observed sensors of wind, temperature and humidity grads respectively on 2 meters and 10 meters on the observing tower, and a hyetometer on 4.11 meters. About 5 meters away from the south of tower stands a 1.5 meters radiation shelf, deploying two short wave radiometers and two long wave radiometers on it.
There is a east facing and 1.2 meters depth soil profile which is 3 meters away from the northeast of micro-meteorological observing tower. Soli heat flux sensor is deployed in the 0.05m and 0.15m depth, and a six levels soil temperature and soil water sensor are deployed in 0.05m, 0.10m, 0.20m, 0.40m, 0.80m, 1.20m respectively.
