- First research flight of SCARGO - Charlie and Britt flying SB on the rotator. - Hue did the preflight while Charlie and Britt went through check-in. - Picarro gave pressure warnings and went into safe mode. Checked that inlet valve was open, inlet covers were removed, and inlet QCs were well seated (all were). Stopped and restarted software and ran fine. Suspect somehow program warmed up and tried to sample air before either the inlet valve was opened or cover removed. - Found a small leak at the NPT fitting just upstream of the rack filter - max spike around 4 ppm. Opened up covers to avoid breath acccumulating in the area as we worked on the laptop. - Profile out of CHC showed high CO2 in morning ABL (~1500 ft deep) and a CH4 spike near the top of the ABL.
