AO2: Signal is noisy. ~ 8-10 per meg instead of 2-4. ~ 20:00 noise = 6 per meg 20:00:35 Went to manual and back ~ 20:02 Played around with cal int, but left back at 30 as it had already started purging LS 20:11:33 noise = 3.8 at end of cal cycle ~ 20:12 to SA, lot's of exhaust smell in cabin - O2 spiking 20:14:30 Taxi roll ~ take-off, CO2 started reading 370 instead of 200, and came on scale for AEROS. .. . loose connection? 20:28 noise = 2.8 on SA! ~20:31-32 at cloud top at 29 kft, a few bumps 20:38 noise = 2.05 on HS ! (tfullloop = 3) 20:46:30 - 20:48 squirted CO2 around inlet fittings 20:48-20:48:30 squirted CO2 around filter fittings 20:59 noise looks good, but shape not great - SPm = 9, WTm = -13, mD = 22, totm = -1, ~ 21:02 started 5 kft/min descent - check P cntrl? 21:07 Pcab = 606 21:18 Positive Gs 21:24 set cal int to 50 to get BL climb out 21:32:30 low over Ponca 21:33 Nice correspondence b/w AO2 and MEDUSA CO2 on +10 ppm Ponca plume Inversion at around 5000 feet (3500 AGL) Cabin pressure setting left on Auto-BJC (5260 ft) so cabin pressure went up on descent - didn't catch nadir so will have to look up post-flight ~ 22:05:30 found that AO2 was displaying a Cyl box USB error. Cyl box lights were out, PaSP = 50, FlSP = 0, and O2 diff huge since 21:58. Wiggled connector and about a minute later, the Cyl box lights came on and flow restarted. . . . USB error display won't clear (software prob), but looks OK. 21:10-21:11 - dropped out again - am pretty sure cyl box connector has not been bumped, though cable at other end may be affected by tray in/out Noticed it happens exactly when leaning over and pressing the MEDUSA buttons Happened again at 21:15:30 when switching MEDUSA - NOT touching cables! Wiggling connector did not fix but plugging Cyl box usb connector into upper port brough back up. AEROS and VNC fighting on screen MED: MEDUSA Plan turn on pump after take-off, leave on low-alt setting all the way up at alt, blow co2 around fittings switch to high alt settings test pos 1, 2, and 3 in both low and high settings 20:25:23 Pumps on P1, P2, and PBYP all tracked down with outside pressure until pump on - is this normal? (both PCs in AUTO) 20:35 P1 = 140, P2 = 400, Pbypass = 825, Flow = 3301 (Pbypass high?) 20:43 at 41 kft, P1 has dropped 20:45:30 - 20:26:00 squirted CO2 around inlet fittings 20:50 at 41 kft P1 = 130, P2 = 399, P3 = 778, P4 = 3011 ~ 20:51 to high alt settings 20:55 P1 = 90, P2 = 670, P3 = 778, P4 = 1695 20:56:50 to Pos 2 21:05 to Pos 3 21:10:30 to low alt settings 21:15:46 to Pos 2 21:22:30 to Pos 1 JUST realized Bypass has been on whole time! 21:33 Nice correspondence b/w AO2 and MEDUSA CO2 on +10 ppm Ponca plume 21:43:50 Bypass Off 21:53:54 to Pos 2 21:58:41 to Pos 3 21:04:07-21:04:15 - switched PC1 to close to double check that flask jumper was in place - flow dropped indicating that it is 22:10:26 to High Alt setting (still on Pos 3) 21:15:30 to Pos 2 21:19:35 to Pos 1 22:25 back to Low Alt settings (had to scroll through 4-9) 22:30:16 back to Bypass
