20110620 Maintenance Day before Flight 21:30 Started up AO2 for system check and got Cyl box error Disconnected/reconnected USB cable at CB, which was knocked during postflight RF03, and restarted CB. USB error gone. 20110621 Maintenance day before flight Purged LP for 2 hours Performed Leak Check 2.b. and found a leak of ~100 torr/hr between SA248 and SP248 20110622 Day of flight 22:58 Instituted new policy of setting both controllers to closed at last step before flight However, P1 came up quite a lot (see 110622_RF04_new_P1_behaviorp.png, 110622_RF04_new_P1_behaviorf.png) This may be leak-back across the pump, but I've never seen it this extremely before. Actually, acceleration behavior looks a lot like acceleration I was seeing at Parker vaves (most of what I was seeing is definitely independent of that, since pump 1 was out of the loop for those tests) But this should be looked into... 23:42:00-43:00 Leak test on AO2 inlet. CO2/O2 were coming up/down just beforehand, and rise continued just past test, and then has leveled off for several minutes. No apparent leak. 23:59:00-00:00:00 Leak test on MEDUSA inlet. No obvious change/leak observed by 00:04 23:59:59 AO2 crashes--code bug 00:06 Notice it (was sampling flasks) Restarting system. VNCed back in, 01:01:00 MED fill and flows seem to anticorrelate with PCAB. and alt. Possible leak on upstream side. Changing to Bypass to see whether it also appears to be affected by this. 01:00:50 Switched to Bypass to see if it also has a dependence. Will have to wait a little while until we descend to tell, but it looks a lot more consistent. 01:16 MEDPBY is also seeing some Alt dependent effect. 01:26 performing leak check on system in bypass. However, Jasna is having a similar P dependent meas issue. Possible this is just instrument seeing low/high P in the vent tube and that at high alts, pump 2 is able to work more efficiently bcz of lower P on dnstrm side, which eases flow upwards, but takes P down. NOW, P controller has to regulate by clamping down, which decreases flow (net?) and increases MED_PSA (net?) Just a theory. It's possible we haven't been able to see this as clearly in the past because other small leaks have obfuscated signals. 01:47:25 back to sample mode 02:42 5-6 mins before lowspan runs, O2 signal gets choppy and slightly lower than usual. Possible that when LS purges, the 3-way leaks to span side? 04:00-05:30ish... bad turbulence after ITCZ. AO2O2 reading quite noisy. 05:54 AO2CO2 has read quite noisily all flight. Possibly because of tinkering yesterday, or because of reboot at midnight. 06:52 Forced cal to get in full profile on way down (hopefully)
