AO2 21:04 Lamp restarted. went off earlier 21:06 AEROS hangs. Pinged server. Not working. Disconnected ethernet cable and repinged. Working. AEROS comes up a couple of mins later. 21:34 Forced cal. Vals for PaWT, PaSP are low. Vals: LS: 703 780 HS: 703 760? LT: 705 79 21:45ish Realized I reset WTfr back too soon, so WT did not cal. Restarting Cal LS: ? Didn't catch values--had to start Prepurge HS: 745 722 WT: 735 732 01:32 Cal cycle delayed, as it is getting close to starting while GV is in MBL. 01:54:15 Switched back to Auto Control after exiting the MBL. MEDUSA 21:10ish Pbypass issue continues to plague us. At first, Pby reads 745ish for 140/400 setpoint. Raising it to 510 brings it back to 783, but after a few mins this creeps up to 815, and appears to still be rising. 21:22? Around this time, reset Dset to 420, and this appeared to bring Pbyp to about 785, roughly where it should be with the observed +23 torr offset in the display. 21:24:38 Started PPurge, but found out we will be going to 40kft on first sawtooth. 21:26:30 Hit stop prepurge. PP is in Pos 4 21:53:50 Restarted prepurge. CHECK FOR SURFACE EFFECTS on Box 1 flasks--looks like pulling down byp to vacuum caused all flasks to be pulled to vacuum, which indicated that there is a serious leak across Byp. loop, and also across the rotor. If all flasks from first box are at very close to same P, then this would seem to confirm this suspicion. 23:00 roughly, took very preliminary Temperature measurements around MED box. Behind Pump Box: 23+ C Below Flask Box: 14- C Inside, Top of Flask Box: ~18C 01:14 Two instances of flow disruption at low alts seem to indicate trap is plugging up. Shut off VB, then Pump, then bypassed US trap. Flow returns to normal. Trap was VERY iced, hard to open, but iced in the body, not at the inlet, which suggests the new system, either the extra offset ring, or waiting until we are at altitude to start the pump, has worked in a sense in keeping moisture from accumulating at the inlet. 02:35 Closed valves on flasks 17-22, because of suspicion that 22 synflex may be unreliable. 02:55 Switched in new trap because second trap was iced over.
