For most “level” penetrations of clouds, the aircraft ascends and descends with the vertical wind. Aircraft does NOT track along streamlines.
When trying to remain ~level, the vertical excursions are ~65m during a cloud pass.
Set CFD operating temperature to ~cloud temperature.
