As of 2004-May-25, S-Pol data are not in final form. Delivery of final data set will be contingent upon creation of new components of processing code, and availability of processing personnel.
Preliminary data are available locally on the ATD network. Data are in a Ka/S-band merged sweepfile data set, accessible through soloii and other sweepfile tools. Preliminary data must be used with caution, and with the expectation that analyses will have to be re-done to incorporate changes. The current location of the preliminary data is:
/scr/rtfdm1/rilling/04mmdd/sweeps and /scr/rtfdm1/rilling/04mmdd/particles (particle ID from Scott Ellis) where 04mmdd is the date of data collection (example: 040219)
20004-Jun-15 --- No change in data status. Activities:
20004-May-25 --- Preliminary data have been created. There are known data issues that need to be corrected (see the link at the top of the page: Problems).
Creation of a final data set will require considerable work, both on the software and in checking of products from that software. Timeframe for this work is uncertain, with conflicts anticipated due to the onset of our next S-Pol project (NAME, starting June 2004).
