NCAR/ATD (currently EOL) deployed several instruments for NAME: three Integrated Sounding Systems ( ISS), its dual-polarization, multi-frequency S-band doppler radar S-POL, and one GLASS (GPS/Loran Atmospheric Sounding System) sounding system.
